

- Chain Link is ugly. In fact, most new urban planned neighborhoods restrict the use of chain link fence in any fashion...including pet kennels.

- Chain link is galvanized or coated with LLDPE (low density polyethylene) which makes is appealing for pets to CHEW.

- Lower grades of chain link are so soft that most dogs can chew it. Ingesting chain link can be fatale to your pet, similar to ingesting tin foil.

- Chain link can be pushed and stretched which can allow pets to get STUCK and injured, or escape.

- Once chain link starts to unravel, it comes apart like a wool sweater making it impossible to repair without complete replacement.

- Chain link has sharp edges and rough corners making it a dangerous for your pet

- Chain link must extend all the way to the ground, which builds up leaves, dirt, urine and bacteria.

- Chain link must be assembled with tools, straps, nuts, bolts, clamps.

- Once constructed, it is a permanent structure that is difficult to move...especially once it has been modified with plywood and chicken wire.

- Chain link is great for construction fencing, but not for your back yard or your pet family member
